The Kingdom is Yours
Bom Dia!!
Oi from São Paulo peeps
Another great/emotionally taxing/exhausting/how am I even this happy week at the CTM!
I lalalove my district so much. Homies for life. Making friends in the CTM is so great but then kind of cruel because you have to leave them almost as soon as you meet them. CTM passion fruit juice coming in clutch and helping me get through the week. Seriously where do they get that stuff? Because it's fantastic.
We got to watch the funeral service for Richard G. Scott on Monday so that was pretty cool! It will be interesting to see what happens during conference (which, by the way, I´m so pumped for General Conference. Everyone watch it. Do it. Now. Watch. #pjsunday)
The weather has been LOVELY in São Paulo and I love the sun because it feels like home <3
I was feeling super inadequate this week and the first part of the week was kind of hard to work through, but then all of a sudden it seemed like every spiritual thought or devotional or talk we had was directed toward me. It made me feel a lot better and like someone (holla at the Big Man) is looking out for me.
Current fave scripture is Doctrine and Covenants 78:17-19:
“Verily, verily, I say unto you, ye are little children, and ye have not as yet understood how great blessings the Father hath in his own hands and prepared for you;
And ye cannot bear all things now; nevertheless, be of good cheer, for I will lead you along. The kingdom is yours and the blessings thereof are yours, and the riches of eternity are yours.
And he who receiveth all things with thankfulness shall be made glorious; and the things of this earth shall be added unto him, even an hundred fold, yea, more”
Here goes my last week in the CTM. I can´t believe it´s already been almost 6 weeks! But at the same time I feel like I've been here for a millennium...seriously... I'm ready to get out. Haha
I LOVE YOU GUYS.
Love from Brazil,
Sister Chamberlain
